Bokwa is a new approach to group exercises that combines dancing figures of the African music, with hip hop and house music.

It was developed for the first time by the fitness personality Paul Mavi (in Los Angeles, CA), the name Bokwa is a combination of two words: “bo”, meaning light, and “kwa” meaning wrestling,the traditional African dance.

It is a fitness program full of positive energy, which helps to firm and tone the body through wrestling moves, dance figures and exercises that build muscles; Bokwa fitness is one of the most funny way to lose love handles quickly.

Bokwa doesn't require you to count steps like a traditional “eight count” followed by most dance fitness programs, it is an intense cardiovascular workout, you simply feel the music and move “freely” to the beat, by drawing letters and numbers with your feet.

Some examples of steps are Bokwa L, Bokwa J, Bokwa 3 and so on; It associates steps with letters and numbers, so once you know the steps, you can train by yourself.  IWC Replica

Everyone can practice Bokwa, from 5 to 75-year-old, from beginner to professional dancer, it is a worldwide dance: the steps have the same structure in Taiwan, in Australia or in the United States.

During a lesson it is possible to burn 1200 calories, in other words: you can firm up your body without fatigue thanks to the positive energy and music, obviously, exercise should always be combined with a healthy diet. 

The most important thing of this innovative way of fitness training is how simple are the steps;

There is also another kind of Bokwa: “Bokwa tone and core”which is designed specifically for muscle tone; In the end, there is also the “Bokwa Kids”, to teach children how to read and count by using a combination between music and physical education.
